April 13, 2024 at 8:57 pmI'm from the U.S., and MTV started playing The Young Ones sometime in the mid-late 80's, and I was instantly hooked. This show is like a fever dream, just so random at times. And they always had excellent musical guests. Alexei Sayle was an absolutely brilliant and under-appreciated part of the show, and the interplay between the main 4 (especially Rik & Ade) keeps me laughing for hours after I'm finished watching.
