Right so its fine for Spotlight to win Best Picture(which it deserved indeed not disputing that), but another very recent movie, with similar themes, but on a wider scale, the haunting Sound Of Freedom, has been ignored by Hollyweird. Proves the Oscars are a utter joke. We all know why the corrupt industry ignored it, its called covering up their crimes(Sound Of Freedom is hated by Hollywood, we all know why).

These actors are all so clueless..they have no REAL clue about real life. These people have no right to lecture people about ANYTHING.

    Ricky Gervais was the best.

So if you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech. You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg.

So if you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent, and your God and f*** off, OK?

    -Ricky Gervais

I want to give a shout out to Ricky Gervais. His Golden Globe speeches are mostly famous for making fun of Hollywood stars BUT he has also spoken some uncomfortable truths. Examples include people knowing what Weinstein was doing but ignored it or that many within Hollywood was friends with Jeffrey Epstien.

I really applaud all of these celebrities for publicly addressing serious topics, namely The Boss and the rampant AIDS/HIV Crisis, back when people didn't think that it was as widespread of a disease.
